I am currently looking for a job in the Austin, TX area, to start
after my wife and I move there sometime in summer 2006. If you're
looking to hire a senior software engineer with a lot of experience in
game development and interactive graphics technologies, please look at my
resume.
Now that the commercial announcement is out of the way, this site is
mostly intended to be a collection area for my various projects, so let's
get right down to business:
Cybermyrmecology - the study of artificial ants
Self-reproducing Cellular Automata - an implementation of Chris Langton's famous CA.
Watch this space, as I will be adding more applets when I convert more of my old Java applications to applets.
Here's a collection of pages describing various class projects I have worked on while getting my Master's degree at the George Washington University:
CSci 219, Computer Graphics II:
CSci 206, Computer Animation:
A few years ago, I completed my Master's thesis while working in the Institute for Computer Graphics under Dr. James Hahn. My thesis title was "The Render Graph: A Data Structure to Aid in the Interactive Display of Scene Graph Data" and its abstract is here. I successfully defended this thesis in November 2002, and I will eventually put up a page devoted to the technology described there.
